This Chevy 2-car Hauler Tow Truck has the Cat 3116 Diesel Power Motor and a 6-speed manual transmission, Vulcan rollback tow bed, 369,570 miles. The truck is rated at 26,000 lbs. Has 2 tool boxes, 19.5 inch Alcoa wheels and has been used by a local Charity to tow donated vehicles to auction. It drives good but need repairs: the driver’s door does not open from the outside, the right front power window does not work, and the power door locks do not work. The winch works but the cable needs to be replaced. The rear stinger set up is missing, the left slide bar setup and the right side L bar is missing. Many of the marker lights are broken and the Light Bar is bent. As you can see in the photos it will need to be re-welded. When you start up the truck or turn off the truck there is a knocking noise under the right side of the dash - it goes on for about 30 seconds. The air cond. does not work.

All you need to do is look at the photos to realize just how nice this wrecker is. This dead sharp 95 GMC Sierra speaks for itself. You are bidding on a 1997 Ford F-350 SD Tow Truck/Wrecker. The truck has an International 7.3L Deisel, 5 speed manual transmission, 4 wheel drive transfer case lever on the floor, after market bucket seats with center console, High-Idle control box and CD-Player. This truck has been the workhorse for me and now that I have upgraded to a 2008 truck I must sell this one, and others. The motor is strong and reliable, all the drive train works very well, including the 4 wheel drive. The wrecker bed is a Century 412 with a 4000# wheel lift. All hydrolics and equipment works and is ready to tow. Comes with dollies, dolly bars, slings, J-hooks, wheel lift straps and tow lights. As you can see from the pictures, there is RUST on the wrecker bed. The rust is mainly surface and not terminal, additional pictures can be sent upon request. We live in Southeast Alaska, with an annual rainfall of 15 feet per year, so yes, things are going to rust. This would be an ideal truck for someone with some time to spruce it back up. Since we live on an Island, shipping is an issue, and the responsibility of the winning bidder.
